Shat Gombujh Mosque ( Shat Gombujh moshjit ষাট গমুজ মসজীদ) is a historical place of bangladesh.
Most impressive Muslim monuments in the whole of the Indian subcontinent." In mid-15th century, a Muslim colony was founded in the unfriendly mangrove forest of the Sundarbans near the coastline in the Bagerhat district by an obscure saint-General, named Khaja Khan Jahan Ali (R).

It is settled in Bagerhat district in southern East Bangladesh that is within the division of Khulna.It is concerning three miles aloof from the most city of Bagerhat. Bagerhat is sort of two hundred miles aloof from Dhaka the capital of Bangladesh.

The total length of the mosque is one hundred sixty feet and breadth is 108 feet. There are literally cardinal (77) low domes organized in seven rows of 11, and one dome on every corner, transferral the whole to eighty one domes.There are four towers. 2 of 4 towers were to azaan. The inside is split into several aisles and bays by slender columns, that culminate in various arches that support the roof. The house of God has seventy seven squat domes with seven four sided pitched Bengali domes within the middle row. The immense prayer hall, though given eleven arched doorways on east and seven every on north and south for ventilation and lightweight, presents a dark and somber look within. it's divided into seven longitudinal aisles and eleven deep bays by a forest of sixty slender stone columns, from that springs rows of endless arches, supporting the domes. Six feet thick, slightly tapering walls and hollow and spherical, nearly detached corner towers, resembling the bastions of defence, every capped by tiny rounded cupolas, recall the Tughlaq design of Delhi.

Khaja khan Jahan Ali Mazar is the histrical place of Bangladesh. Its stand in Bagerhat District of Khulna Division. It was establishted by Hazrat  Khan Jahan Ali. There is a massive pond with many corocodile. Name of that corocodile is: Kala Pahar, Dhola pahar. Though only 1 or two of the femily member are alive right now. There are some more crocodile opened by formar Prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia in the year of 2003.


An inscription says that he died on twenty fifth Gregorian calendar month, 1459. there's  a mosque near of it . a detailed associate of Hazrat Khan Jahan Ali was buried outside the place. On the night of the complete moon of the month of Chaitra a giant honest is command beside the Mazar. many Pleople attend the holly uros (Fair). there's a massive pond front of the Mazar. The lolocal folks decision it the Dighi of Hazrat Khan Jahan Ali . There are some crocodiles in this massive pond (Dighi). they are available close to once the Fakirs decision them and provides them one thing to eat.

Historical Importance: Hazrat Pir Khan Jahan Ali who dedicated his life for the Islam. He came here from capital of Iraq with several disciples. He discovered his camp and with the assistance of his adherent he started teaching concerning Islam. there have been several dead enemy of Islam and he fought against them and won the battle. lots of non-muslims accepted Islam attracting to the divine virtu of Khan Jahan Ali. Bagerhat is absolutely an area of historical importantce.
