There are literally cardinal (77) low domes organized in seven rows of 11, and one dome on every corner, transferral the whole to eighty one domes.There are four towers. 2 of 4 towers were to azaan. The inside is split into several aisles and bays by slender columns, that culminate in various arches that support the roof. The house of God has seventy seven squat domes with seven four sided pitched Bengali domes within the middle row. The immense prayer hall, though given eleven arched doorways on east and seven every on north and south for ventilation and lightweight, presents a dark and somber look within. it's divided into seven longitudinal aisles and eleven deep bays by a forest of sixty slender stone columns, from that springs rows of endless arches, supporting the domes. Six feet thick, slightly tapering walls and hollow and spherical, nearly detached corner towers, resembling the bastions of defence, every capped by tiny rounded cupolas, recall the Tughlaq design of Delhi.
